The phrase "a more integrated system" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing improvements or enhancements to a system that combines various components or functions more effectively.

Alternatives: "a better unified system" or "a more cohesive system".
The perspective of moving towards a more integrated system would increase confidence in the euro".
What this suggests is that a more integrated system wouldn't just achieve a one-time saving, but also flatten the upward trend.
