We decided to operate the electron beam with a lower accelerating voltage with respect to the previous cases in order to have a minor penetration depth of electrons through the PS layer.
Interestingly, this difference was clearly expressed also in the pairs composed of cells with only minor depth difference (<100 μm, n = 23 pairs, gray in Fig. 6 a 2, c 2 and n = 18 pairs, gray in Fig. 6 a 1, c 1).
We then used Arraystar v11 (DNAstar) to call SNPs that were genotyped successfully in a minimum of 80 individuals with a minimum read depth of 10 and a minor allele frequency of at least 0.2.
In addition, using Bragg Brentano geometry, we measured the presence of a minor phase of Fe4N in the case depth.

This book though, with its depth of insight into extremes of shallowness, and its human scale, reads like a minor classic of our times.
The only exception was for conditions combining a very low read depth (N = 5) with a minor allele frequency of p = 0.50, in which case the observed data contain sparse information about the latent genotypes.
It caused a minor storm of investigation.
Simulations were undertaken for average depths 1, 2 and 8. Any SNP which had a minor allele frequency of zero in the genotype or GBS data was removed from the analysis.
The initial pile had a dome shape with a maximum depth of 10 m, with the base having major and minor axes of 100 and 70 m, respectively.
