For Verizon to suggest this is like a Geek Squad hack sucking his teeth for a minute and then saying "Well, we need to reinstall Windows if you're getting a memory error".
This powerful cognitive phenomenon is revealed in a memory error known as "boundary extension" (BE; [ 15]). Figure 1 illustrates this effect, where a healthy participant, having studied a picture of a simple scene, drew the scene from memory moments later and included much more surrounding background than was present in the studied stimulus.

An entry into an incorrect arm was recorded a reference memory error, and an entry into an arm where it had been before was referred to as a working memory error.
