From a practical standpoint, implementation of subject pair matching would require an automated system deployed across several aggressively recruiting sites that allows rapid input of patient data, classifies severity of disease, and finds a matching case.
"From a technical standpoint, game data can tell us everything about a match, down to the exact vector of a bullet.
From a development standpoint, it's impossible to foresee the priorities and guess a match.
Although the two spectra do not exactly match, from a perceptual standpoint, the differences are of minor importance.
"We try to match the company and who they are and where they're at with the best-suited mentor with the necessary expertise, and we also try to make sure it's a good match from a relationship standpoint," he said.
From a design standpoint, the couple is well matched.
Testing teams run through a product from a developer's standpoint, a salesperson's standpoint, and a customer's standpoint.
"You look around, and from a pure talent standpoint, we match up against easily anybody," Bay said.
"We have plenty of experienced athletes, so we'll look to improve from an individual standpoint each match.
It's about the bigger financial complexities of the calendar, about reduced profits for mid-week matches, etc. From a standpoint of dollars and sense, it has always made some sense – but it's surely time to grow into big boy pants on this one.
