The phrase "a marginal correlation with" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you want to describe a weak or slight relationship between two variables or factors.
Example: "The study found a marginal correlation with the participants' exercise habits and their overall health outcomes."
Alternatives: "a slight association with" or "a weak relationship with".
