The phrase "a low importance" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe something that is not significant or does not carry much weight in a particular context.
Example: "In the grand scheme of the project, this task holds a low importance compared to the main objectives."
Alternatives: "minor significance" or "little importance".
