The phrase "a longer program" is correct and usable in written English.
You can use it when referring to a program that has a greater duration or more content compared to another program.
Example: "The conference will feature a longer program this year, including additional workshops and keynote speakers."
Alternatives: "an extended program" or "a more extensive program."
