The phrase "a logical possibility" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing scenarios or concepts that could theoretically occur without contradicting established logic or reasoning.
Example: "In the realm of theoretical physics, time travel is often considered a logical possibility, even if it has not been proven to be feasible."
Alternatives: "a conceivable option" or "a plausible scenario".
While genocide is hardly pre-announced, it is there as a logical possibility.
