It can be used to refer to a maximum amount or restriction that applies over the entire duration of a person's life, often in contexts like insurance, benefits, or health care.
Example: "The insurance policy has a lifetime limit of $1 million for medical expenses."
Alternatives: "a lifetime cap" or "an eternal limit".
