In this paper we introduce a new lateral steering model which is suited to characterize individual drivers.
On average, for all frequencies tested an increase of 1 dB in IID resulted in an increase in lateral steering of 0.15 mm.
At a CF of 5.3 kHz, the IID of only 2 dB resulted in an even less lateral steering, and at 5.5 kHz there was no reliable steering at all, because IIDs do not exist.
The low level lateral and longitudinal controllers used in this platform are given and a robust parameter space lateral steering controller design is presented.
