The phrase "a later study carried" is not correct as it is incomplete and lacks clarity.
It can be used when referring to a study that was conducted after a previous one, but it needs additional context to be meaningful.
Example: "A later study carried out by researchers found different results."
Alternatives: "a subsequent study conducted" or "a following study performed".
