The phrase "a labor figure" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to refer to a person or entity that represents or is significant in the labor movement or labor-related issues.
Example: "The conference featured a prominent labor figure who spoke about workers' rights and unionization."
Alternatives: "a labor leader" or "a labor representative."
