The phrase "a kind kind" is not correct and not usable in written English.
Instead, you could use phrases such as "very kind" or "incredibly kind". For example: "He was an incredibly kind person who always put others before himself".

To investigate whether our pigeons also showed a similar latency effect we compared the latencies to initiate the next trial following one-of-a-kind, two-of-a-kind, three-of-a-kind, and four-of-a-kind (winning) trials.
