In the data structure, layer i corresponds to the frequency distribution of the i th important factor in all n−i+1 possibilities, and the joint frequency distribution between layer i and n−i possibilities in layer i+1, here n is the total number of factors.
The joint frequency distribution was analyzed using Pearson's chi-square test to determine whether the variables were statistically independent or whether they were associated.
As expected, the joint frequency distribution for SD 7-1 and SD 12 was biased in favor of the four genotypes that are homozygous (SD 12SD 12SD 12) for the dormancy-enhancing allele at SD 12, in particular the digenic genotype (sd 7-1sd 7-1sd 7-1sd 12SD 12SD 12).
The joint frequency quartile distribution for the two PD measures is provided and compared in Table 2. Of the 360 subjects, 217 (60.3%) were classified into the same quartiles by assessments made on their raw and processed images.
In this system maximum likelihood estimates of the probability of ancestry from one of a set of populations equate to the joint allele frequency distributions derived from training sets analyzed by the classifier.
