The phrase "a higher proportion with" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing the relative frequency or amount of something in a specific group or context.
Example: "In the study, we found a higher proportion with advanced degrees among the participants."
Alternatives: "a greater share of" or "an increased percentage of".
