There is a high prioritization of HIV in overall health spending in SSA and when looked at through the lens of morbidity and mortality attributable to HIV in 2008 [27], the proportion of funding for HIV in SSA is higher than the burden of disease (Figure 2).
M-LWDF rules achieve higher prioritization for the delay-sensitive flows with best-effort flows receiving no service.
However, the lack of this effect in Experiment 4, which also involved higher prioritization, in the same manner as in Experiment 3, but no noise, suggests that the combination of high prioritization and the presentation of an auditory stimulus amidst noise (in Exps. 2– 3) is what led to an effect of visual perceptual load on the response criterion.
There needs to be higher prioritization and commitment, targeted policies and greater consensus to engage the world in promoting this life-saving and vital practice.
There are several possible reasons for the association between national health, wealth and health equality, and higher prioritization of health inequalities.
Respondents' relatively higher prioritization of minimizing health inequality in these countries may reflect exposure to media coverage of these programmes and policy priorities.
Finally, it remains possible that unmeasured factors for example, characteristics of the health system in different countries, or mass attitudes or values regarding health and economic development—may be associated with better health, wealth and equality, and respondents' higher prioritization of reducing inequality.
Both of these experiments involved higher prioritization for the auditory detection task (with the auditory response being made first in Exp. 2 and with the auditory stimulus occurring on 50%% of trials in Exp. 3, in which participants had to respond "present" or "absent" on every trial).
The figures show that PSO and ACO have highest prioritization times.
