Additionally, the transmission phase profile defining the form birefringence was calculated as a function of the periodicities P i (i = x,y) at the wavelength λ = 1.49 μm.
The preceding experiments yield understanding of the comparative behaviour of exploratory and confirmatory approaches to period estimation as a function of the degree of periodicity in the underlying sequence.
