Three areas, namely system/software architecture and design, qualification testing, and reuse were the most frequently addressed topics in the literature.
In a more specific context, Silveira-Neto et al. [1] examined the 25-year history of the most important software engineering conference in Brazil (i.e., SBES), showing the main researchers who published in this conference, the most frequently addressed topics, most engaged universities, and the distribution of accepted publications throughout the extensive Brazilian territory.
The frequently addressed topics include its definition, scope and classification, the semantic and syntactic features of the three components of the existential, i.e., the locative nominal group (NGL), the verbal group (VG), and the nominal group (NG) in that order.
