The phrase "a feature in Japanese" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing a characteristic or aspect that is specific to the Japanese language or culture.
Example: "One interesting feature in Japanese is the use of honorifics to convey respect."
Alternatives: "an aspect of Japanese" or "a characteristic of Japanese".
