He saw today's disillusion with companies and managers as the fault of management theory - in particular the narrowly economic assumptions about human nature and the nature of companies that in practice cause managers to subvert themselves and their companies.
The club is proposing that venues should not be closed because of crimes occurring without the fault of management, that venue closure in itself should be a last resort, and that police advice should not have special status in licensing hearings.
William Lacey, chairman of the Civil Service Coalition of Building Trades and Municipal Unions, said that to the extent that productivity problems exist, they are the fault of management, not the union workers.

"In a sense, the real fault of upper management is they didn't look beneath the optimistic surface of the reports of their subordinates," he said.
Then, it explains planning a critical part of configuration that is often overlooked when implementing a fault management system.
Very occasionally, they say, an outlet will make a mediocre showing, but that is always the fault of the management and not of the chicken; the answer is to revoke the franchise and find a more worthy franchisee.
