The phrase "a fast spread of" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe the rapid dissemination or increase of something, such as information, a disease, or a trend.
Example: "The fast spread of the virus has raised concerns among health officials."
Alternatives: "a rapid spread of" or "a quick spread of".
