The phrase "a false conclusion" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing reasoning, logic, or arguments that lead to an incorrect outcome or belief.
Example: "After reviewing the evidence, it became clear that the initial analysis led to a false conclusion about the data."
Alternatives: "an incorrect inference" or "a mistaken judgment."
