The phrase "a definite classification of" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing a clear and specific categorization of items, concepts, or phenomena.
Example: "The study provides a definite classification of various species found in the region."
Alternatives: "a clear categorization of" or "a specific classification of".
The characterization of such canonical copies would be also important for a definite classification of these elements.
