The phrase "a decrease in behaviours" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing a reduction in specific actions or activities exhibited by individuals or groups.
Example: "The study found a significant decrease in behaviours associated with stress after the intervention."
Alternatives: "a reduction in behaviours" or "a decline in behaviours".
As a result of a different juvenile being introduced a decrease in investigative behaviours between T1 and T2 would not be expected.
