The phrase "a debug" is not correct in standard written English.
The correct term is "debug" used as a verb or "a debug session" when referring to a specific instance of debugging.
Example: "I need to run a debug session to identify the issue in the code."
Alternatives: "a debugging process" or "a debugging session."
"I love those images, but it's not what's needed in a debug environment".
