The phrase "a cropland of" is not standard in written English and may sound awkward.
It could be used in contexts discussing agricultural areas or land use, but it is more common to use "cropland" without the article "a" or the preposition "of."
Example: "The region is known for its rich cropland, which supports various crops."
Alternatives: "an area of cropland" or "a field of crops."
