In the present model, each time step n corresponds to a whole genome duplication and leads to a complete duplication of the PPI network, whereby each node is duplicated (×2) and each interaction quadruplated (×4) as depicted on Fig. 2[ 48].
The C. chloropyga genes were in the same order and orientation as the mitochondrial genome of other dipteran species, except for the occurrence of a 123 bp region that included a complete duplication of tRNAIle and a partial duplication of tRNAGln genes.
In an analysis based on the PDZ domain sequences (Fig. 2C) all invertebrate ZASP-like homologs segregated close to eat-1 and tungus whereas the zebrafish ZASP-like gene is closely related to zebrafish ZASP, indicating that a partial duplication event (or a complete duplication followed by partial truncation) occurred twice during evolution (Fig. 2C) and generated the ZASP-like structure.
One common explanation for this diversity is that a complete duplication of the entire genome [ 2] facilitated teleost diversification.
This finding supports the hypothesis that the two clusters are the result of a complete duplication of the original cluster rather than of independent tandem duplications, which would have phylogenetically grouped neighboring genes on chromosomes in the tree.
A third CNV contains a complete duplication of the PIK3R4 gene, coding for a highly conserved protein from yeast to humans that interacts with PIK3C3 in vivo to regulate the protein trafficking required for PI3K activity (42).

A micturating cystourethrogram (MCUG) showed complete duplication of the urethra with a diverticulum arising from ventral urethra near its terminal part with a small para ureteral bladder diverticulum.
Although many fish genes are indeed duplicated [ 61, 77, 80- 82], it is not clear whether the copies were created by a complete genome duplication (autopolyploidy), merge of different genomes (allopolyploidy), regional duplication, or simply a series of tandem duplications.
C. elegans Fer1L also has only a partial DysF domain, and it remains unclear whether Fer1L arose as a result of partial gene duplication, or whether a series of deletions followed a complete gene duplication of Fer-1.
Complete duplication of an experiment: all of the 120 samples of the experiment GSE9676 (14 ) were reused in the experiment GSE10760 (15 ).
