The phrase "a circumscribed margin" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you are describing a boundary or limit that is clearly defined or restricted.
Example: "The artist created a painting with a circumscribed margin, emphasizing the central subject."
Alternatives: "defined boundary" or "restricted edge".
Many tumours had a well-circumscribed margin but others showed an infiltrative growth pattern and areas of central necrosis.
Low-grade tumours may exactly mimic BMT with a well-circumscribed margin and no bony destruction.
