In order to estimate the inland penetration limit of tsunami waves responsible for boulder deposition, our study has been focused on the three biggest boulders described in the area by Scicchitano et al. (2007), that are B3, B4 and B13 (Fig. 2) whose features indicate a joint bounded scenario JBS.
Three different scenarios were hypothesized: the first one considers a boulder placed on a cliff edge (joint bounded scenario JBS); in the second one, the boulder is taken up and placed below sea level (submerged scenario SMS); in the last one, the boulder is detached and placed inland (sub-aerial scenario SAS).
If a boulder is detached from cliff edge (joint bounded scenario), the height of the water column flooding can be obtained from this relation: (2)In fact, at the edge of the cliff, where the boulders initially were placed, the tsunami height must be not smaller than the minimum wave able to move the biggest boulder.

Strategies should focus on bounded scenarios – where a small collection of intelligent or connected devices can solve old problems in news ways or solve brand-new problems only approachable given the rise of the IoT.
Based thereupon, a set of representative scenarios and bounding scenarios is selected for numerical calculations with a lumped-parameter code, and a smaller subset is then chosen for an additional in-depth analysis with computational fluid dynamics codes.
For the water-cooled Pb-17Li concept the need was confirmed for further R&D on reactivity of Pb-17Li with water to quantitatively assess bounding scenarios.
Key factors influencing the modeling process included: (1) challenging assumptions, (2) bounding scenarios, (3) validating science and scenarios, and (4) negotiating the degree of science certainty about climate change necessary for adaptive natural resource management.
The TCS scheme represents a good choice when application requires a bounded delay; here in our scenario, the delay stays almost constant at the value of Tmax (e.g., 0.3).
These 12 scenarios provide us with a bounded economic estimation (Appendix 1: Tables 3 and 4).
The cooperative localization is found to give a bounded relative position mean square error (MSE) and an absolute position MSE inversely proportional to the number of agents, in the worst case scenario, and a bounded position MSE in the best case scenario.
