Ryan's plan –- though it would not achieve a balanced budget year to year until 2040 and would allow the debt to rise to 70percentt of GDP by 2022 –- would bring the debt down to 64percentt, just above its current level, by 2030, down to 48percentt by 2040, and then dramatically down to 10percentt by 2050.
With the products in the following list lined up for release, 2011 is set to be a much more balanced year.
