Verse 190 of the second chapter of the Koran reads: "Fight in the path of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits.
In another Quranic passage (2 190), Muslims are told, "fight in the case of God those who start fighting you, but do not transgress limits (or start the attack); for God loveth not transgressors".
In Surah 2 190, Muslims are instructed to "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you," but they conveniently ignore the second part of the verse that says, "But do not transgress limits; For Allah loveth not transgressors".
But if you look closer, it also goes on to say, in Chapter 3, Verse 172: "Of those who answered the call of Allah and the messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward" and "Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loves not transgressors" (Chapter 2, Verse 190).
Mr. Kelly transgresses the limits of traditional stage behavior so slightly that we wonder whether it has always been as ridiculous as he makes it.
If the findings are so supported we have the right to strike down the suspension only if it transgresses constitutional limits.
