Anyone who thinks that these litigation-hungry warriors will not do what they have been born, bred, paid and inspired to do if the election is close does not understand the species.
"New York has long taken a policy for a while, going back, not to give out these litigations," Mr. Luxenberg said.
He was so successful in these litigations that he soon had a thriving private practice and had gained the friendship of landowners and creditors.
If money doesn't matter, why do these wealthy districts often join in the defense of these litigations to try to ensure that their ability to continue to spend at high levels is not curtailed?
"We are pleased that the Appellate Division has ruled that Suffolk did follow all the proper environmental procedures in our past vector-control programs and ended these litigations," said Steve Levy, the county executive.
