Again, in spite of the observation that SVAR produced more biclusters than DPC, the results suggest that DPC gives rise to more intuitive groupings of genes, as we would expect co-regulated genes to share common binding motifs in their promotors, where transcription factors that are involved in their co-ordinated regulation can bind.
