After the public and press interest garnered from Echo & the Bunnymen's debut album, Crocodiles, the band released the Shine So Hard EP which maintained their profile.
"Classic," the pseudo-titular tune from The Knocks' So Classic EP, featuring Powers, is basically a pool party recorded to song.
"[It] comes from "Maktoop is from the Arabic word maktoob meaning 'written' or 'destiny' so the EP title could be interpreted as 'looking for destiny'," she explains.
The other bonus tracks included "Simple Stuff" which was the B-side to the single "Rescue"; early versions of "Villiers Terrace", "Pride" and "Simple Stuff" from the album's recording sessions; and the four tracks from the Shine So Hard EP, "Crocodiles", "Zimbo", "All That Jazz" and "Over the Wall".
"That's when the tracks were originally written and signed to Halocyan, but I'm at the point now where I'm starting to write a bit harder, more dance floor driven music, so this EP is a good base to build from for this".
Two interviews described cases where medication (topicals and IV fluids) had been given but had not been prescribed on the system and so an eP administration record could not be made.
