In-depth interviewing in primary health care research is a popular method to understand the health care experience and the patient-clinician relationship.
To capture our older participants' own subjective meanings and understandings, we employed qualitative research methodologies in our study – including semi-structured, in-depth, interviewing and social network mapping.
