She is the author of War and the Works of J.R.R. Tolkien (Greenwood Press, 2004) which won the Mythopoeic Award in Inklings Scholarship in 2005, and the editor of Tolkien on Film: Essays on Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings (Mythopoeic Press, 2004).
