The overall objective of the study was to (i) standardize protocol for isolation and infection of P. cajani, (ii) assess the effect of elevated atmospheric concentration of CO2 on PB development and (iii) quantify P. cajani during in planta infection.
Like the test score outcomes, I standardize the time use variables to be mean zero and standard deviation one by grade and year, as students' activities likely change as they age and as technology changes over the years.15 Means and standard deviations for the time use variables before standardization are in Table 1.

Here we describe a software architecture, the functional imaging laboratory (funcLAB/G), which addresses (i) standardized image processing using Statistical Parametric Mapping and (ii) its extension to secure sharing and availability for the community using standards-based Grid technology (Globus Toolkit).

Therefore, in the present analysis we used (i) Standardized Response Mean (SRM) values to assess internal responsiveness [ 21] of the individual JOQOL domains and (ii) changes in JOQOL domain scores over 24 weeks (last observation carried forward; LOCF).
Is standardized excellence a good thing?
Finally, I standardized scores of leaves along the circularity vector to range from 0 to 1 and compared to calculated values of the circularity shape factor (CSF), the most commonly used metric of circularity, for each specimen.
The aims of the present research were (i) to standardize and apply a genetic improvement programme to a Chilean strain H. pluvialis in order to improve its carotenogenic capacity and (ii) to evaluate the performance of a selected mutant strain in large commercial-sized open ponds in northern Chile.
Hence, there are several remaining challenges to be addressed in the upcoming research (i) to standardize the protocols for TSPC enrichment, (ii) to establish efficient methods for terminal tenogenic differentiation in vitro, and (iii) to determine the TSPC self-renewal and differentiation capacity by serial transplantation assays in vivo.
