Today I received comments suggesting (asking) that I appear on the morning talk shows, all of which appear to be focused on the Trayvon Martin tragedy, and the associated Zimmerman trial.
I received comments from, "That's messed up," to, "What about carrying on your family blood line?" to "What kind of woman wants that for their life?" to "It must be because your childhood was traumatic".
"I received comments like, 'be more courageous, be more daring...make it more dangerous.'" (Since these quotes come from the press materials I think they are probably a bit generous).
Over and over again, I received comments and emails from mothers who said things such as, "We own those shorts in your blog post, the ones with the daisies, but... .. "...our daughter wears bike shorts under them".
