Sixteen (16) cocoa farms (four farms from each community) were identified purposively with (i) Distance of farm to the nearest drinking water source (hand dug wells) and (ii) age of cocoa farm (farms not less than 8 years and not more than 20 years with a history of at least 5 years of pesticides application) being the determining factors.
