"No, I can hit a golf shot in front of a million people, but getting up there — I mean, I wanted to hit a serve, but I was thinking, 'If I frame this into the crowd, I'm going to look so bad.' " He laughed.
My mother promptly mailed the documents to my Midtown apartment, whereupon I framed and nailed this little slice of the town's more tobacco-friendly past onto my least-stained wall, confident in the fact that I'd never actually locate the receptacle itself.
