I did loads of research for this book.
"I knew immediately what my poem would be about because I've just written a book called Beetle Boy, which I did loads of research for, and discovered amazing facts about insect flight.
He said: 'These I don't think warrant anything, these ones could be worked on and these ones I really like as they are.' But, inevitably, even the ones he really liked as they were, I did loads of work on anyway".
