PCA reveals a very clear biphasic developmental trajectory, with (i) a concerted decrease in PC1 and PC2 between P2 P3 and P5 and (ii) a decrease in PC1 coupled with an increase in PC2 between P8 P9 and P12 P13.
Update: Since there's been such a curiously strong reaction to this post (some of which I suspect is concerted), I'll just clarify a few things.
This hypothetical schematic model is expected to pass through the transition state structure (structured) for both the stepwise (route I) and concerted (route II) reaction mechanism.

The SH test compared the most optimal topology without constraints with two tree topologies in which duplicate sequences were monophyletic by species (i.e., concerted) and by position in the array (i.e., retained orthology) respectively.
Multiple cortical representation of muscles controlling hand/fingers, represents the functional frame for the extraordinary repertoire of movement strategies (i.e. concerted actions orchestrated by many –sometimes the same- muscles acting on different joints at different times [24], [37], [47]).
The strong nucleotide similarities of these multiple CRs may be maintained by sequence homogenization mechanisms, i.e., concerted evolution ([ 27]; also see below).
However, the divergence time was not estimated from ITS2 because this marker system can be influenced by homogenization among different loci within multigene DNA families (i.e. concerted evolution [ 21]).
Then, the repeated organization of rDNA would allow the spreading of new variations trough the mechanisms of genomic turnover, as well as the sexual reproduction could allow to fix them in the reproductive units (i.e. "concerted evolution").
