A practical application of this concept would be: if you find yourself thinking about recoding and condensing the findings of a qualitative study into higher conceptual categories in order to help you make sense of them, then the conceptual analysis is lacking.
In the next four subsections we briefly describe the programs under consideration, the evidence we collected on their effects, and summarize the main findings; subsection 3.5 condenses the findings across programs and outcome variables and concludes.
