So what are the implications of using such systems and why do we really care if a computer grades an essay versus a human?
The computer grades and acceptability criteria, as shown in table 1, were provided as a guide but could be modified if judged appropriate by each reviewer following inspection of each blow, e.g. inspection of the tail of the curve appeared satisfactory even if it did not meet the computerised criteria of <25 mL in 1 s or FET ≥6 s.

The format of the MOOC lets students experience lectures from the professor, go through computer graded tests or peer assessed essays or other work, and engage in discussion forums with others interested in the topic.
