Wegmann was a key figure in large scale research projects on the history of Germanistik (Bielefeld) and on the intersection of media and cultural communication, organized jointly by the universities of Köln, Bonn, and Aachen as Sonderforschungs-bereich Medien und kulturelle Kommunikation.
Thus, traditional media messages might not be able to persuade these populations to change behaviour and concerted efforts need to be put in place to reach these individuals both through more effective communication frames and community organizing [ 10, 56].
The second organization that facilitated the visit was the leadership body for the community, La Directiva, an elected board responsible for social activities, communication and organizing within the community.
Perhaps we should have seen that the same technology that brought instantaneous trading around the world would foster instantaneous "anti" communication and organizing.
