Capricornus, ( Latin: "Goat-horned"), also called the Goat, in astronomy, zodiacal constellation lying in the southern sky between Aquarius and Sagittarius, at about 21 hours right ascension and 20° south declination.

In astrology, Capricornus (also called Capricorn) is the 10th sign of the zodiac, considered as governing the period from about December 22 to about January 19.
Previously, however, it appeared in the constellation Capricornus at the winter solstice, hence the name Tropic of Capricorn.
Aquarius, ( Latin: "Water Bearer") in astronomy, zodiacal constellation lying in the southern sky between Capricornus and Pisces, at about 22 hours right ascension and 10° south declination.
These dates are still used for the astrological signs, though precession of the equinoxes has shifted the constellations eastward; e.g., on January 1 the direction of the sun is now in Sagittarius instead of Capricornus.
At this stage in Earth's orbit, we face the "bare" constellations of Pegasus and princess Andromeda, along with the faint, "wet" star patterns of Cetus (the whale), Pisces (the fishes), Aquarius (the water-bearer) and Capricornus (the sea-goat).
Sagittarius, ( Latin: "Archer") in astronomy, zodiacal constellation in the southern sky lying between Capricornus and Scorpius, at about 19 hours right ascension and 25° south declination.
Mars lingers as an evening object low in the SSW to SW, its altitude as seen from Britain one hour after sunset increasing from 12° to 17° as it tracks ENE through Capricornus and dims slightly from mag 1.0 to 1.1.
To complete the watery theme across our lower southern sky, Eridanus represents a river, while Aquarius is the Water Bearer and Capricornus the Sea Goat.
