The first is bounded rational choice, in which the available choices are made to appear constrained, either by controlling the available information, or the amount of resource available to make a decision.
This paper presents a multiple bounded discrete choice (MBDC) survey model for collecting information about acceptability of different water prices by different types of households and estimating households' willingness to pay for water service improvement.
In this study the Contingent Valuation Method with the double bounded dichotomous choice format was used to elicit WTP for agricultural heritage (AH) conservation, which was modeled using a Bivariate Probit specification.
In one fourth-grade classroom students are divided into groups named after Ivy League schools, and there is a sign on the wall that says, "Am I making college-bound choices today?" There are the names of kids who showed the school values of respect, responsibility, self-examination, focus on goals and ganas, or unceasing teamwork.
These classes also frequently involve a real (if bounded) element of choice; students need to produce an essay or documentary film that accomplishes certain academic objectives, but they can choose the topic that interests them.
And despite ongoing interest in the status of logical knowledge and resource bounded reasoning and choice, fields such as traditional epistemology and decision theory have to date made little use of the detailed analyses of computational difficulty discussed above.
