At periodicities below 85 nm, four thin filaments are visualized in the interbead region, but at periodicities greater than 85 nm, two thick filaments are seen.
Wavelet coherence analyses show that the influence of ENSO and NAO at the inter-annual scale occurs at 2 6 year periodicities, and the influence of PDO occur at periodicities up to 8 years and exceeding 16 years.
As is shown in Fig. 3(c), the wavelet spectra of the chert bed thickness time series revealed distinct peaks at periodicities of ~0.1, ~2 and ~8 Myr above the 90% confidence levels, in addition to the 405 kyr periodicity.
Several examinations have pointed out the presence of regularities in bacterial gene expression data where local expression maxima are found at periodicities of around [ 32] or slightly above [ 33, 34] 100 kb.

At the rim, narrow parallel ripples at high periodicity are observed, perpendicular to the electric field of the incident beam.
Importantly, the magnitude peaked at the periodicity of the stimulus in all gaze conditions; in our case, at the stimulus cycle of "5".
Now we are uncertain whether the observed high frequency peak is real at a periodicity 1.2 weeks or it is a contamination from the daily cycle at 1/7 weeks.
At the periodicity of 60 nm shown in Figure 7, the deposited Ag particles were smaller than those at the periodicity of 100 nm, as shown in Figure 5, because of the reduction in the opening area of the alumina mask used for metal deposition.
