The phrase "As is shown in table 1" is correct and usable in written English. You can use it when you are referring to the content of a particular table or when you want to introduce a piece of information that appears in the table. For example: "As is shown in table 1, the average commute time for people living in the suburbs is much higher than those living in the city center.".
