We have designed a novel, efficient synthesis of N-Bz-Pmp t-Bu 2-OH.
4-NP-β-mannoside has two substitutions that distinguish it from the other ligands tested here: an axial 2′-OH group rather than the equatorial 2′-OH of glucoside ligands, and a 4-nitrophenyl substitution on the phenolic R group.
